Who We Are

Kiln + Grain partners Andrea and Rachael both share a lifelong passion for home interiors, design and travel.

Whilst travelling together in various countries across Europe an idea grew to open a shop and studio in the heart of Swanage. Selling thoughtfully curated handmade products from both local makers and sustainable brands.

Andrea an interior designer has been designing kitchens and homes in Dorset for many years. And with her husband Paul of Rempstone Joinery are thrilled to be showcasing their kitchens and design services instore.

Rachael is a ceramicist and teacher and over the past ten years has been working for both private clients on commission and as a teacher running adult pottery courses as well as teaching ceramics to children in schools across the Isle of Purbeck.

Rachael’s ceramics are on sale in the shop and she runs our weekly evening and morning classes and workshops in the upstairs inspirational studio space.
