A 2 hour session where you can make 1-3 rings. The workshop will teach you how to make your own stacking rings by hand in sterling silver wire. Elly will guide you through the basics of Silversmithing including:
▪︎ Measuring and ascertaining metal length to cut for your own personal size
▪︎ Preparing your measured silver wire by filing and shaping ready for heating and soldering
▪︎ How to solder using a small gas torch - or just watch Elly do it if it makes you nervous!
▪︎ Shaping & choosing a texture or stamp of choice for your own personal style
▪︎ Final sanding, fitting and polishing your pieces
Materials: sterling silver, an additional metal cost of £5 - £18 per ring is payable on the day depending on the thickness/weight/finger size
No experience necessary
